![]() The apps are good, but they don't come close to the quality level or experience of DuoLingo. I don't really think there's a clear comparison. It's the big picture (coverage of more material), the lack of need to self-micromanage (this saves me a TON of time), and the little details that I think make DuoLingo so good. On DuoLingo, it shows me new sentences I've never seen before, and it does clever things like when I've learned a new tense or grammatical construction, it throws that thing into vocab practice for earlier sections, stuff like that. On these apps, I practice a lesson over and over again and it's the same few sentences. Duolingo is the worlds most popular way to learn a language. Its 100 free, fun, and scientifically proven to work. Practice online on or on the apps Learn languages by playing a game.
